FUNDAMENTAL IP FOR THE QUANTUM ERA
We develop algorithms for quantum computing, quantum cryptography and artificial intelligence
OUR MISSION
Quantum computers have the potential to revolutionize commerce, transportation, science and defence.
They will be able to solve hard mathematical problems and to break some of the most important cryptographic algorithms used today.
Our mission is to develop new algorithms, methods and protocols that are the theoretical foundations for quantum computing applications, cybersecurity solutions and artificial intelligence.
ABOUT US
QBaltic is a corporate spin-off of the University of Latvia, University of Tartu, Estonia, and QuBalt, Germany.
The company is built on the excellent track record of the founding partners and aims to turn research results into commercially applicable intellectual property.
The expertise and innovations of cross-discipline research teams are united to build up a comprehensive intellectual property and patent portfolio that is licensed to key players in the industry.
Our current portfolio includes several inventions of fundamental quantum algorithms, quantum cryptography methods as well as patents and patent applications in the field of post-quantum cryptography.
RESEARCH FIELDS
We conduct research and development in three related domains:
Quantum algorithms, including algorithm building blocks, optimization algorithms, methods and protocols.
Quantum cryptography, including quantum position verification, quantum communication, post-quantum authentication, post-quantum computing on encrypted data.
Artificial intelligence, including artificial neural networks with problem specific structure for classical and quantum computers, SAT-Solvers.
RESEARCH TEAM
Our quantum computing team from the University of Latvia is one of most respected and leading teams in the world with more than 25 years of experience. It is lead by one of the world's top-five quantum algorithm researcher. They have invented 50+ quantum algorithms, many of them are fundamental.
The researchers of the cryptography and information theory teams from the University of Tartu and QuBalt are well known and respected experts in their research fields. They are the inventors of patents and patent applications.
In total, QBaltic researchers have made 380+ publications and have 12.800+ citations.
